Beginning Growers Workshop before The International Elderberry Symposium 2025

Take advantage of another day of all thing's elderberries at our workshop the day before The International Elderberry Symposium. This event will take place at Stoney Creek Inn in The Lewis & Clark Room. Columbia, Missouri on Tuesday, June 17th. It's an afternoon workshop, from 12:30pm-4:30pm.

We will discuss beginning growing techniques in regard to planting, growing, harvesting and processing American black elderberries. You'll learn how to plan your orchard, how to mitigate risks for pests and diseases, as well as how to process and clean your harvested berries. We will go in-depth with some guest speakers and talk about new pruning methods and practices from across the globe.
